How to Use the Program
Ensure you have set up an account with both Discovery and the enclosure partner.
Place your order with the enclosure partner, and inform them that you would like the order delivered to Discovery Organics. Your enclosure must arrive at Discovery at least 24 hours before your Discovery ship date.
All enclosures must be accompanied by 2 copies of the appropriate paperwork that includes the following:
Consignee name (must have an account set up with Discovery Organics)
In addition - the consignee's name must be written on every case included in the enclosure order.
Total number of cases being shipped, and instructions for cold/frozen storage. Cases should be marked for appropriate cold storage as well.
Total weight of all cases combined (in lbs or kgs).
Each case should be clearly numbered (ie: 1 of 4, 2 of 4, etc).
Enclosures that arrive without proper documentation or consignee information will not be accepted.
When you place your order with the enclosure partner, please alert the Discovery Organics Sales team via email regarding what date to expect the enclosure to arrive. A $35 admin fee plus the cost of freight will be charged through a separate invoice, and the enclosure will ship with your upcoming produce order.
Horizon Distributors

Discovery Organics and Horizon Distributors have partnered together so small businesses throughout Western Canada can access certified organic produce AND stock their shelves with high quality groceries, bulk goods, supplements, and natural personal care products.
Admin fees and freight costs are waived with co-shipping orders from Discovery and Horizon.
When co-shipping an order with Horizon Distributors, ensure that you ship from the dock that has the largest order. If Horizon is the larger order, Discovery will ship your produce order to Horizon for consolidation. If Discovery is the larger order, Horizon will ship their goods to Discovery for consolidation. Please communicate that information when coordinating this enclosure.
Additional Notes:
We ship all orders in refrigerated trucks that do not have the capacity for holding frozen products at frozen temperatures. All frozen items as part of enclosures and orders are shipped with this knowledge in mind and Discovery Organics assumes no responsibility for product integrity/quality after the item is in transit.
Enclosure orders do not factor into the shipping minimums for your Discovery Organics produce order.
