Tahoma Farms was established in 2009 by first generation farmers, Kim and Dan Hulse. The 40-acre former dairy is part of the 100-acre Orting Valley Farms – 3 parcels preserved as organic farmland in perpetuity through a conservation easement held by PCC Farmland Trust.
Tahoma Farms grows 70 different fruits and vegetables throughout the year, with a focus on cool-weather crops that allow the farm to produce year round. Some of the larger crops (besides the brussels sprout plants Dan is holding pictured below) Tahoma Farms produces are kale, dandelion greens, carrots, potatoes and winter squash.
The Hulse’s, their two young children and their hard-working crew are passionate about growing good food and committed to the work that makes our communities stronger.
